Aims of the project:

1) Take active part in Europe 2020 strategy by promoting social inclusion based on gender equality.

2) Identify and compare gender-related issues and current problems of Europe and its neighboring countries, understanding the causes and consequences. 

3) Increase capacity of youth workers and educators by providing methods for working with teenagers in relation to gender equality issues

4) Encouraging international cooperation between organizations specializing in gender issues and gender roles.

 

Based on the aims, project objectives are:

1) To introduce the project participants/organizations with the Europe Startegy 2020 and promote partnerorganizations complicity;

2) With carrying out activities in local communities, partner organizations will make a research on issues related to gender roles, equality and social exclusion;

3) To organize international training in Georgia, where participants will be encourage to compare and critically analyzing gender issues in a global perspective;

4) To develop co-operation between the European Union and neighboring countries organizations;

5) Project participants will get introduced with the "girls' and boys' groups' method", its objectives, tools and targets; learning the method;

6) To organize local activities after the training course in Georgia, where each member organization integrates learned techniques in their communities (target group- teenagers/ young adults/ youth workers).

7) Evaluation of efficiency and sustainability of the method, assesment of the problems and results; planning of the future cooperation among partner organizations in experience exchange seminar, Hungary, December 2014.
